Cookie Dough Pick Up

Tomorrow, Tuesday, 05 December 2024, is Cookie Dough Pick Up. Pick Up  will begin at 12:00pm. Please pick up your order by no later than 5:00pm. To facilitate cookie dough pick up, please DO NOT park in angle parking on the north side of the school after 9:00am. Cookie Dough Pizza Party

In recognition of excellent cookie dough sales, the School Council has sponsored a Pizza Party for the school. It will be held Wednesday, 06 December 2024.

Veterans Association Food Bank

Beginning today, Monday, 04 December 2023, Riverbend School will host a food drive to support the Veterans Food Bank. If you can please donate non-perishable food items. Among the items that are required are pet food, assorted canned meats, rice, toilet paper, "Christmas Dinner" items, gift cards and canned pasta. Detailed needs lists are posted on the school doors. The food drive will run until Monday, 18 December 2023. Thank you for supporting this worthy cause.

Winter Singalong

On Thursday, 07 December 2023, Riverbend School will host a winter singalong. This is an opportunity to come out as a family, sing some familiar songs and enjoy time with other members of our school family. There will be two "seatings" - one at 6:00pm and one at 7:00pm. We ask that you select one as we are aware that our gym can only hold so many! There is no cost for admission although a donation to the food drive would be gratefully accepted! The Veterans Association has provided six large boxes - let's aim to fill them all!

Non-Instructional Day

Reminder there are no classes on Friday, 08 December 2023.

Sherwood School Presentation

Sherwood School will be in our school on the evening of Tuesday, 16 January 2024, from 6:00-7:00pm to answer any questions you might have about our designated Junior High School. Some of our Riverbend parents and former students will be here to share their experiences and provide thoughtful insight on the school and its programs. Open to all parents regardless of what grade your child is presently in.

Save the Date: Sherwood School Open House for feeder school parents and students will be held 08 February 2024 between 6:00-7:00pm.
