Good afternoon Riverbend community!

Here are your updates for the week of 14 May 2024:

Spring Concert

The school is buzzing with excitement for this year’s Spring Concert. The concert will take place on Thursday May 16 at 6:00pm. Doors will open at 5:45pm for students to head to the classroom while families take their seats in the gym. At the end of the concert, please collect your students from their classrooms.

Dress Rehearsal

We will have a dress rehearsal in the afternoon of Wednesday May 15, beginning at 1pm. All students, PM kindergarten-Grade 6 will participate in the rehearsal. (AM kindergarten will practice with Mr. Hall in the morning). Families are welcome to attend the dress rehearsal - it will not be a polished performance as this is the first run-through in the gym!

Non-Instructional Day

Friday, 17 May 2024, is a Non-Instructional Day. There are no classes.

Victoria Day

Monday, 20 May 2024, is Victoria Day. There are no classes.

Pancake Breakfast

Friday, 24 May 2024. Please see the attached poster.

Kindergarten Orientation

Thursday, 30 May 2024, beginning at 6:00pm for next year kindergarten students.

Bicycles/Skateboards

Please do not ride on the school property past the bicycle racks.

Dogs

Please do not bring your dogs on to school property in the morning and at the end of the day. Not all our children and families are comfortable with dogs.
