Good afternoon Riverbend Community!

Here are your updates for the week of 04 March 2024:

• Stay tuned for the opening of the Parent Survey on school fees and the School Development Plan. Survey information will be sent out later this week.
• Over the past few weeks there has been a significant increase in late arrivals at school. Supervision begins at 7:45am and students are in their desks at 8:00am. If it is below -20 with windchill, students are brought in immediately at 7:45am.
• There was a couple of "near misses" in the staff parking lot last week as a result of parents dropping off students. Please remember that the staff parking lot is not a student drop off, please use the angle parking on the north side of the building or the community association parking lot.
• Swimming for grades 1, 2 and 3 begins Monday, 11 March 2024.
• Mission Impossible continues as the gym unit this week. Remind your child to dress appropriately - hair tied back is the big issue! Shoes and socks are not worn unless your child has 'sticky' socks designed for gymnastics.
