Good afternoon Riverbend community!

Here are your updates for the week of 02 April 2024:

• Next Monday, 08 April 2024, there is a solar eclipse which, depending on weather conditions, will be visible in Calgary in the early afternoon. Thanks to the generosity of the School Council, the school has appropriate glasses for viewing this event for students in grades 3-6. Each of these grades, under the direction of their teachers will learn about and then safely observe the eclipse. If your child is in grades 3-6 and you do not wish them to observe this rare solar event, please contact your child's teacher.
• Next Year Intention Forms (Staying or Going) - If you have not done so already, please return the Next Year Intention Form as soon as you are able.
• Grade 6 Outdoor School - 15-18 April 2024. Grade 6 Parents - Please return forms if you have not done so already.
• School Council - Wednesday, 17 April 2024. The meeting begins at 6:30pm and runs approximately 1.5 hours.
