It was wonderful to meet our new families and see so many familiar faces on Thursday. School Council’s picnic and our meet the teacher event were a great way to connect and celebrate the start of the school year! Many thanks to School Council for hosting this community-building event!

Friday Dismissal 

Just a reminder that we dismiss at noon on Fridays. Our office had many inquiries last week! 

Bicycles & Scooters 

Please remind your children to walk their bikes or scooters on school property. The space gets very busy, particularly at drop-off and pick up times. 

Grade 6 Presentation 

Did you know that your grade six student can get a free YMCA membership? Katie from the YMCA popped by today to share what activities are offered for our students and how to access this community facility. 

Terry Fox Run

We are very excited to be hosting our Terry Fox Run on Thursday, September 25th at 9:45. Parents are welcome to line the route and cheer on our runners! If you wish to make a donation to the Terry Fox Foundation, you may send small cash amounts to the school or donate online. 

From School Council:  

School Council Meeting - Wed, Sept 17, 6:30-8:00pm. Please join us for our first meeting of the year! We are the voice of the parents and guardians of our school, and we are focused on supporting and enhancing our children’s school experience. At the meeting, we will discuss exciting plans for the year ahead. Feel free to come a few minutes early at 6:15pm to connect with our Principal, Assistant Principal, and other parents.

Fun Lunch & Popcorn Recess - Our wonderful volunteers will be organizing a monthly fun lunch and recess snack again this year. A paper notice was sent out this week with dates and ordering details. Popcorn & Pizza Orders 2025-2026.pdf  Timely action is needed from you to ensure your kiddo doesn't miss the first dates at the end of September.
