We would like to extend thanks from all our staff to families who have continued to support us throughout the school year. School Council wrapped up this past week with many plans for future activities already in the works for 2025-26! Thank you to all parents who support us through Council, REPS, volunteering and more! We couldn't do all the amazing activities and extras without you!

This week, our grade 4 students were caring for ducklings they hatched, which connects to learning about life cycles in science. Keep an eye on our Instagram for pictures! Our grade three students went to the Royal Tyrrell Museum in Drumheller this week to learn more about dinosaurs. This connects to earth systems in the science curriculum.

Updates and Information:

School Bus Transportation

With Alberta Education’s new method of measuring walk distance to schools, we now have some families who will be eligible for school bus transportation. If you are eligible and would like to access this service (or even think you might), please register by Sunday, June 22 so that your address is considered in route planning over the summer. Transportation can be cancelled up to September 30th without financial penalty. Click here for more information. Contact the school if you have any questions.

Sport Calgary Assembly

On Tuesday, we are excited to host a visit with Karissa, a Team Canada rower. She will be speaking to students about her personal journey in sport and the importance of staying active. This is sponsored by Sport Calgary in support of their All Sport One Day - a free, city-wide initiative that gives youth the chance to try up to four different sports in a single day.

Spring Concert Video Update

The spring concert video is in the final review with Mr. Hall and looks amazing! The link will be sent out early next week.

Report Cards

Final report cards for this school year will be available for viewing via your MyCBE parent account from June 25-July 25th, 2025.
