We hope you are enjoying this Family Day long weekend, and what looks to be the last of our unseasonably warmer weather for the next while. Thursday brings the “Riverbend Olympics” winter sports day with friendly competition between multi-aged school teams. We will be participating in activities both indoor and outside as long as the temperatures are above –20 degrees Celsius (our usual recess cut-off for outdoor activities). Please ensure your child(ren) are dressed for the weather. Go teams go!
Last week our students and staff organized a special send-off for Mrs. Scott’s last day. Please see our Instagram page for pictures of the beautiful art piece students created for her.
