We are very excited to begin our field work with Yellow Steps this week! Please ensure that your child comes to school dressed for the weather/temperatures as we will be working outdoors for extended times. This includes jackets, snowpants, boots, gloves and a hat. Our facilitator, Jenn, was here on Thursday to meet students. Thank you, School Council/REPS, for funding this residency! 

If you are able, please consider volunteering your time for the upcoming Riverbend Elementary Parent Society (REPS) casino night. A few hours of your time translates to significant funds raised for our school, and we only have a casino once every 18 months or so.

Kindergarten – Eye See Eye Learn 

Eye See...Eye LearnTM is a barrier free program for all kindergarten-aged children offered by the Alberta Association of Optometrists. Kindergarten-aged children who receive an eye exam and are in need of glasses are eligible for a FREE pair through the Eye See...Eye Learn program.

Pick up day is Wednesday! The school will send out an email when orders are ready for pick up, hopefully starting around noon, and ending at 5:00 in the north (angled parking) lot.
