Welcome spring? We are hopeful that last Thursday’s snow day was one of our last so we can begin spring activities!
The month of April is recognized internationally as Autism Awareness Month to increase understanding, foster inclusion, and support individuals with autism spectrum disorder. Students, staff and families are encouraged to wear blue on Friday, April 10th to show support for people living with autism.
Our swimming program begins the week of April 13th for grades 3 & 4 and April 27th for grades 1 & 2. More volunteers are required to make this possible! See below for more information.
The Week Ahead:
Monday April 6 | School is in session, regular hours. Grade 6 vaccinations, as well as some catch-up in other grades (Only for families who have received and returned written consent forms. Questions about vaccinations are to be directed to our school public health nurse.) |

Updates and Information:
Swimming Volunteers
We continue to require volunteers for swimming, particularly males in each time slot to supervise the boys change room. We do not currently have any male teachers on staff.
Unfortunately, if we cannot secure enough volunteers for these weeks, we will not book swimming in the future. A volunteer clearance is required. Please browse the sign-up links to see where you can spare a couple hours to make this activity feasible. Thank you.
