As we move to the final two months of school we are happy to see so many families making the most of the better weather and spending time at our playgrounds and field after school. We love that our community makes use of our shared spaces before and after school! 

We would like to remind everyone that once students are dismissed and have connected with their adult after school, we cannot always accommodate answering the doorbell for washroom visits and forgotten items. Although we are still in the building, the doorbell is not monitored, and we are often in meetings. We encourage all students to take the belongings they need and use the washroom prior to exiting if they are planning to stay at the playground with their families. Thank you!

Calgary Stampede Pancake Breakfast 

Keep Tuesday, June 2 available! Our fantastic social coordinator has arranged another pancake breakfast on June 2. All Riverbend School families are welcome! Breakfast is usually served shortly after 8:00.

Our next School Council meeting is also the Annual General Meeting (AGM). We are in need of some folks to step up and fill some important roles. Please reply if you're interested in learning more! 

• Chair / President - coordinates monthly meetings, correspondence, annual reports 
• Co-Chair / Vice-President - shares and supports above duties 
• Cookie Dough - focuses on communications & event planning 
• Learning Garden - coordinates annual clean-up 

School Council/REPS is a great group of parents and guardians who are focused on supporting our school. There are always lots of good questions and discussions at the monthly meetings. Come on out and join us!
